Manager of Technology / Head of Technology

■  WHAT YOU WILL DO

You will own five core areas:

1.  IT Service Management & Technical Support

•     Lead all internal and external technology support operations including help desk, end-user support, and customer-facing technical services

•     Establish KPI-driven SLA processes; implement ITIL-based service management frameworks

•     Manage full IT asset lifecycle from procurement to retirement

2.  Infrastructure, Security & Cloud Operations

•     Own enterprise infrastructure: networks, servers, cloud platforms, virtualization, storage, and DR systems

•     Lead cybersecurity strategy — vulnerability management, endpoint protection, access controls, security monitoring

•     Ensure full HIPAA compliance; develop and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans

•     Drive cloud transformation, modernization, and technology standardization initiatives

3.  Software Development & Integration Services

•     Oversee development and maintenance of proprietary applications, customer portals, and reporting systems

•     Direct HL7 interfaces, EHR connectivity, LIS integrations, and third-party platform integrations

•     Manage SDLC, software architecture, DevOps, release management, and QA processes

•     Drive AI adoption, automation, and digital transformation initiatives

4.  Offshore Team Leadership

•     Build, manage, and scale offshore technology teams across development, QA, data services, support, and cybersecurity

•     Establish training programs, performance metrics, communication frameworks, and career development pathways

•     Drive cost-effective delivery through an optimized onsite/offshore operating model

5.  Strategic Technology Leadership

•     Develop and execute the multi-year technology roadmap aligned to business strategy

•     Support acquisitions through technology due diligence and post-acquisition integration planning

•     Evaluate and recommend emerging technology investments that improve efficiency and scalability

■  WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Required:

•     12+ years of progressive technology leadership experience

•     5+ years leading multi-functional technology organizations (infrastructure, development, support, cybersecurity)

•     Proven experience building and managing offshore technology teams

•     Deep expertise in enterprise networking, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform), cybersecurity frameworks, and SDLC

•     Experience managing customer-facing technical support teams with SLA accountability

•     Strong vendor management and IT budgeting skills

•     Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field

Preferred (Strong Plus):

•   Experience in diagnostic laboratories, clinical labs, healthcare technology, or HIPAA-regulated environments — highly preferred

•     Knowledge of LIS platforms, HL7 integrations, and EHR connectivity standards

•     Experience supporting M&A activity and post-acquisition technology integration

•     Familiarity with AI, automation, and cloud-native modernization initiatives

•     Master''s degree preferred

•     Salary: $100,000 – $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience
