An established dairy nutrition consulting group seeks experienced Dairy Consultant to service existing clientele and develop new business in Central/Eastern MI . In this role, you will work with large and progressive dairy producers achieve their goals by providing optimal nutrition consultation and innovative solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Ration formulation, on-farm troubleshooting and strategy development
  • Strong commitment to nurture existing relationships and cultivate new opportunities
  • You control pricing and margin - you will be competitive in the market
  • Delivery provided by company - you're not expected to handle the product
  • Streamlined decision making provides answers quickly - no red tape
  • Customized rations using minerals mixed at local mill or on the farm

To be considered for this job you must have
  • A track record of success selling dairy feed to producers 
  • Practical experience working on a family or corporate dairy is highly desired
  • Ability to relate to owners/managers of successful large dairies and provide world class service 
  • Strong technical skills related to progressive dairies and nutrition
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work without supervision or direction
  • Integrity, a healthy work ethic, a desire for a balance of life & work 
  • A passion for the dairy industry and cows
  • BS degree (or above) in an applicable field.
