We are looking for a dynamic, energetic, and committed nutrition professional to joining the Field Services Administration (FSA) team and work in region 3-Mountain. Under the region-3 Mountain Child Nutrition Supervisor I in the FSA, the incumbent will monitor and complete administrative reviews of program operators participating in the Child Nutrition Programs (CNP) for compliance with the state and federal regulations, conduct nutrient analyses of meals served, educate the public, as well as nonprofit program operators, provide program related technical assistance, and analyze and interpret state and federal laws and regulations

The position requires at least 50 percent travel and throughout the state of California as neede. Registered Dietitians preferred, but not required. The majority of the caseload will be in Inyo, Los Angeles, Riverside, and San Bernardino Counties.

The office will be located at either of the following addresses: Pomona Warehouse or LA Diagnostic Center 2550 Fulton RD 4339 State University Dr RM 57 Pomona, CA 91767 Los Angeles, CA 90032 Candidates must be on the certificaiton list by passing the exam prior to applying for this position. The exam can be found at the following link: HTTP:/WWW.CDE.CA.GOV/RE/DI/JB/SSOEXAM.ASP The current hybrid schedule through the end of 2025 requires a minimum of two days per week in the field reporting to the office in-person. This is subject to change in 2026 and the candidate must be willing to be in the field or in-person in the office four days a week
