Job description

Position Overview

Title: Household Manager/Nanny
Location: Boston, MA
Start Date: Mid-September

Compensation

  • $40/hour on regular workdays
  • $50/hour on travel days
  • $150 overnight stipend while traveling
  • Guaranteed 40 hours per week

Schedule

  • Monday–Friday
  • Generally 12:00 PM–8:00 PM
  • Core hours: 2:00 PM–8:00 PM
  • Earlier starts (10:00–11:00 AM) when children are out of school

Children

  • 8-year-old twins
  • 3-year-old twins
  • 3-month-old infant

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive care for five children across multiple age groups.
  • Manage children's daily routines and developmental activities.
  • Pick up children as needed and transport safely.
  • Handle child-related household management (approximately two hours daily), including organizing children's spaces, laundry, meal prep, supplies, and scheduling.
  • Communicate consistently with parents and proactively anticipate household needs.
  • Travel domestically and internationally with the family 7–10 times per year.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional childcare experience, especially with infants and multiple children.
  • CPR/First Aid certification (BLS preferred; family will pay if needed).
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Valid passport and ability to travel internationally.
  • Comfortable swimming with children.
  • Up-to-date Tdap and at least one COVID-19 vaccination.
  • Warm, confident, organized, and an excellent communicator.
