Job Description:

Permian Resources (NYSE: PR) is currently seeking a Midstream and Marketing Analyst in Midland, TX. The Marketing Analyst will provide support for a variety of projects (as detailed below). The ideal candidate will have strong technical and communication skills as well as be able to contribute his/her expertise while working on a multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.

General Responsibilities

  • Responsible for tracking, coordinating, and summarizing day-to-day oil, gas, NGL, or water midstream and marketing activities which include, but are not limited to:

    • Delivering schedule of wells to third party midstream/downstream markets

    • Creating and communicating oil/gas/NGL/water production forecasts for internal review and coordination of third party connections

    • Monitoring, analyzing, and distributing current and future commodity prices

    • Updating and comparing netbacks on oil/gas/NGL agreements

    • Assisting with producing RFPs for services

    • Assisting accounting with review of oil/gas/NGL monthly statements for accuracy

    • Communicating with midstream/downstream markets and internal teams during upset conditions in order to evaluate and minimize impact to production

    • Organizing and summarizing all midstream and marketing third party agreements

    • Managing and updating marketing calendar related to key dates and obligations in applicable agreements

    • Interpreting contracts and proposals and translating into financial models

  • Depending on experience level, assist with strategic marketing activities which include, but are not limited to:

    • Coordinating new well head connections with third party midstream companies

    • Monitoring and optimizing commodity pricing amongst contracts

    • Identifying areas of improvement and renegotiating of applicable agreements

    • Analyzing and preparing large data sets in Excel including financial models and calculations

    • Assist with editing and redlining contracts in Word

    • Creating and modifying presentations for internal review in PowerPoint

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Logistics, Supply Chain, Data Management or Accounting

  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Spotfire, Carte and ProCount is a plus
