Job description

Piper Maddox is partnering with a growing renewable energy company seeking a Project Manager to support the delivery of RNG infrastructure projects across the U.S.


This is a high-ownership role for someone who can manage multiple projects, coordinate engineering and construction teams, and make decisions that keep projects moving from design through commissioning and startup.


RNG experience is preferred, particularly landfill gas, but candidates from digester, natural gas, gas processing, midstream, pipeline, refining, or industrial construction backgrounds are also encouraged to apply.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple active capital projects from engineering through construction and startup
  • Coordinate engineers, contractors, vendors, OEMs, and internal stakeholders
  • Drive project schedule, budget, quality, and overall execution
  • Identify risks, resolve issues, and make timely project decisions
  • Support procurement, contractor management, change orders, and field execution
  • Maintain clear communication across project teams and leadership


Qualifications & Background:

  • 5โ€“12+ years of project management, project engineering, or construction experience
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree preferred
  • Experience within RNG, landfill gas, biogas, natural gas, midstream, pipeline, refining, or industrial construction
  • Strong understanding of engineering, construction, commissioning, and startup
  • Experience managing multiple projects and multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong ownership mentality, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • PMP or PE is a plus, but practical project experience is more important
