Job Description
TTS is seeking a driven and experienced Project Manager to lead projects in the Power Generation and Midstream sectors from initiation through completion. The ideal candidate will bring a solid track record in managing energy and utility projects - whether fossil, renewable or hybrid - while maintaining a strong focus on safety, cost management, scheduling, and stakeholder communication. This role requires in-depth knowledge of power generation and/or midstream industries, along with a firm grasp of project management methodologies and engineering principles.
The Project Manager will be an integral member of the TTS Operations team, with responsibilities focused on:
โ€ข Contributing to project planning and development in alignment with organizational goals.
โ€ข Managing projects from initiation through closeout.
โ€ข Overseeing the execution of projects, coordinating resources, schedules, and activities.
โ€ข Communicating with the TTS Project Team to clarify project requirements, align objectives, and support efficient collaboration.
โ€ข Engaging with TTS Customers to provide regular updates on project status.
โ€ข Reporting progress to TTS Stakeholders regarding all aspects of projects.
Requirements
Duties & Responsibilities:
โ€ข Define and manage project tasks, deliverables, and data analysis to ensure alignment with project goals.
โ€ข Monitor overall project progress, follow up with internal and external stakeholders, and maintain accurate project documentation and reports.
โ€ข Track and report on project status, identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
โ€ข Create, update, and maintain detailed project schedules, including milestones.
โ€ข Identify and assess resource requirements and gaps to ensure optimal project execution.
โ€ข Manage client expectations and ensure project objectives are clearly understood and met.
โ€ข Coordinate with various departments to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
โ€ข Schedule and lead project team meetings to track progress, resolve issues, and maintain team alignment.
โ€ข Adhere to TTS Project Management and Execution guidelines, standards, and processes.
โ€ข Communicate and collaborate effectively across multiple levels within the organization.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข 5+ years of project management experience, including tracking and planning projects within a technical or engineering environment.
โ€ข Solid understanding of energy/utility systems and relevant industry standards.
โ€ข Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects or tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
โ€ข Strong grasp of the interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs.
โ€ข Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
โ€ข Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project.
โ€ข Strong technical writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
โ€ข Excellent interpersonal skills with a team-oriented approach.
Preferred:
โ€ข Bachelor's degree in business management, project management or an engineering/technical field.
โ€ข PMP, CAPM, or equivalent project management certification.
โ€ข Familiarity with EPC contract structures.
