In 2021, Diversified announced our expansion into our Central Regional Focus Area, which includes producing areas within Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.
POSITION SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Lead Roustabout will be responsible for performing a variety of manual labor tasks on oil and gas assets. The Field Lead Roustabout will work under the direction of the Field Foreman and will be expected to follow all safety protocols and procedures.
Special focus to be placed on:
  • Leads the field roustabout team
  • Assist field leads with day-to-day activities
  • Assist field pumpers/well tester
  • Assist with isolation of flow lines/failures
  • Assist with cleanup of failures
  • Ability to change out piping/valves
  • Troubleshooting skills
  • Responsible for gang truck/tools
  • Assist with the installation of pipes, repair clamps, anodes and coatings
  • Clean and maintain equipment
  • Dig trenches and lay pipe
  • Assist with the movement of heavy equipment and materials
  • Perform general labor tasks as needed
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in manual labor or construction preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
  • Willingness to work long hours and weekends as needed
  • Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
  • Must be able to move or traverse from one location on the job site to another. This includes the ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods, frequently positioning oneself (e.g., to stoop, kneel, or squat) to perform tasks, and occasionally ascend/descend (e.g., ladders or uneven terrain)
  • Ability to detect, determine, perceive, identify, recognize, judge, observe, inspect, estimate, and assess driving operations effectively (either naturally or with corrective lenses).
  • Ability to operate a 4X4 vehicle.
  • Must be able to repetitively move or position feet, shoulders, arms, wrists, and back. Constantly operates, uses, and positions hands and fingers in performance of work
  • Must be able to work atop elevated surfaces and traverse various heights
  • Lifts or carries 60 lbs. or more, which falls into the "heavy" category (over 50 pounds).
  • Frequently pushes and pulls with a maximum force of 150 ft./lbs.
  • Constantly works in outdoor weather conditions and is exposed to varying environmental conditions, including well site conditions. The position requires the ability to perform tasks in physically demanding environments, encompassing the essential physical requirements and efforts outline
