The Manager, Medical Affairs Strategic Engagement - THV will be responsible for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to execute defined strategic initiatives, gather insights and facilitate scientific exchange with healthcare providers and professional societies to drive towards an elevated standard of care and improve access to innovative, life-saving technologies.
How you'll make an impact:

  • Develop robust presentations and analyses that clearly communicate initiative objectives, processes, outputs, and synthesized insights for senior internal stakeholders

  • Support the development and approval of scientific materials and presentations for physician partners and senior internal stakeholders

  • Coordinate operational activities for Medical Affairs strategy and external stakeholder engagement initiatives, including tracking milestones, deliverables, and communications

  • Provide project management support across Medical Affairs strategy and external stakeholder engagement initiatives, ensuring timelines, dependencies, and documentation are maintained

  • Track progress of assigned initiatives, including documentation of interactions with healthcare providers and thought leaders

  • Support contracting for health care providers and society sponsorships

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of relationships with healthcare providers and professional societies by supporting engagement planning and followup

  • Assist conference planning, including planning conversations with healthcare providers and societies

What you'll need (Required):

  • Bachelor's Degree preferably in a scientific, technical, quantitative or Finance (FP&A) field, with 8 years of previous related work experience required or equivalent work experience based on Edwards criteria

  • 3 years' direct experience in strategy, management consulting, business development, or marketing and sales

What else we look for (Preferred):

  • Master's Degree or equivalent in MBA, 6 years related experience

  • Superb organizational and project management skills with proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel, as well as Word, Teams, and CoPilot

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and interpersonal relationship skills, including consultative and relationship management skills

  • Strong analytical mindset, including ability to summarize and communicate key information clearly

  • Ability to engage externally with healthcare providers and professional societal leaders

  • Ability to interact with internal and external personnel on assigned projects

  • Ability to work in a team environment with cross-functional collaborators

  • Substantial knowledge and understanding of medical affairs policies, procedures, and guidelines, including medical-legal review policies and procedures

  • Substantial knowledge of healthcare provider policies and regulations

  • Substantial knowledge of regulatory, compliance, and AdvaMed requirements

  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Aligning our overall business objectives with performance, we offer competitive salaries, performance-based incentives, and a wide variety of benefits programs to address the diverse individual needs of our employees and their families.
For California, the base pay range for this position is $126,000 - 178,000 (highly experienced).
