There's one thing you do that's exceptional: lead.

In this role, as the liaison between the Syneos Health Medical Affairs functions and the customer, you will be in charge of managing all aspects of the planning and development of resources and strategies to support and drive the customer's Medical Affairs business. As the Medical Affairs Lead, you will collaborate both internally and with the customer to establish and structure integrated Medical Affairs solutions in tandem with other functional areas across Syneos Health. You will:

  • Be the customer's main point of contact regarding Medical Affairs project work
  • Collaborate with senior customer management and recommend strategies for the customer
  • Own the project internal P&L
  • Lead on the Medical Affairs strategy and execution
  • Monitor and report on performance/progress across the Medical Affairs-led functional activities
  • Lead cross-functional project teams
  • Lead the weekly Medical Affairs sub-team meetings to discuss major milestones and deliverables
  • Develop senior leadership

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years' Medical Affairs experience
  • Experience successfully launching multiple commercial assets across the pharmaceutical and/or medical device sectors
  • Ability to understand global medical trends, financial data, customer needs and assess competitive intelligence data
  • Demonstrated record of product success through proactive, pre-launch Medical Affairs engagement with the market
  • Ability to travel

Desired Requirements:

  • Master's degree
  • Experience interfacing with Consulting firms and/or Medical Communication agencies
  • Experience building and/or running a Medical Affairs function
