Job description

The Sr. Manager of Information Technology has full responsibility for all aspects of the IT infrastructure and enterprise applications.With a large degree of autonomy, this individual will contribute to company IT strategy and vision, partner with stakeholders to drive key initiatives, and ensuring the continuous development of system and process scalability in a high-pace environment. Through developing and managing strong relationships with internal business clients and technology leadership this person will ensure functional alignment with business goals and technology priorities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Plans, oversees the designs and directs operational activities of the IT department, as well as collaborates on strategic direction and support for IT solutions that enhance mission-critical business operations
  • Collaborates with the Manager, Information Security and Compliance, Manager Process Control and Vice President, IT & OT to ensure alignment
  • Works closely with decision makers in other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to understand each core area of the business and their related functions, processes, and operations
  • Assure alignment with and contribution to Technology and Cybersecurity governance processes
  • Oversight for 3-6 critical projects annually; ensure project's strategic alignment, provide guidance, and garner senior and extended leadership support
  • Provide leadership, direction, and coaching to attract, develop and retain high-performing IT talent
  • Mentor and coach employees at the team and individual levels to drive performance, increase capability, and ensure succession readiness
  • Plans and controls departmental staffing, development, organization, hardware acquisitions, and facilities to ensure that they are consistent with the business plan of the company
  • Directs the design, development, and maintenance of IT systems to meet management and company's information and reliability requirements
  • Establishes, improves and enforces IT policies, standards, practices and security measures to ensure effective and consistent information processing operations and to safeguard information resources
  • Selects, develops, and motivates qualified staff to effectively carry out department functions and provide for the continuity of managerial and specialized skills
  • Ensures users/customers are provided professional, competent, efficient, courteous, and timely support and service.
  • Execute both annual and long-term strategic, financial, and resourcing planning goals for the IT function and various technology platforms
  • Lead the annual IT budget development, including forecasting capital needs for the 7 year long range plan (LRP)
  • Performs other duties as assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business or comparable business experience
  • 10+ years of hands-on IT experience
  • 5+ years of direct IT leadership responsibility
  • Direct experience creating and leading strategy and solutions in an enterprise resource systems (ERP) environment
  • Capital project management experience with enterprise-wide implementations
  • Demonstrated ability to assess and enhance IT processes within an organization and knowledge of challenges faced by implementation teams along with demonstrated knowledge of IT operations, systems, architecture, technical controls, data-centric issues, and considerations

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
More specifically, the successful candidate will possess the following qualifications and competencies:
  • MBA or Master's Degree from an accredited university or college
  • Oracle or SAP ERP experience
  • Project Management Certification
  • IT Service Management Certification
