Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to bring IT leadership in-house as our company continues to grow. This is a hands-on role responsible for day-to-day IT operations, user support, infrastructure management, and coordination with outsourced IT partners. The IT Manager will serve as the primary technology expert and a key liaison between leadership and external vendors, with the opportunity to shape and scale IT operations.

Responsibilities
  • Provide handson desktop support for Windows 10/11 (hardware, software, user support)
  • Administer Microsoft 365, including SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, permissions, and document libraries
  • Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, security groups, and NTFS permissions
  • Maintain wired and wireless networks, VPNs, and remote access
  • Support businesscritical applications (ERP, CAD, and related systems)
  • Manage onpremise servers, virtualization, backups, and system documentation
  • Track IT assets and manage support requests via a ticketing system
  • Serve as the primary contact for outsourced IT vendors and manage service delivery
  • Lead IT security efforts, including incident response, recovery, and access control
  • Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning
  • Recommend and implement technological improvements to support efficiency, security, and growth
  • Qualifications
  • 5+ years of handson IT experience, including senior, lead, or sole IT responsibility
  • Strong experience supporting Windows 10/11 in a domain environment
  • Proficiency with Active Directory, Group Policy, and Microsoft 365
  • Solid networking knowledge (DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls, wireless)
  • Experience with Windows Server and virtualization (HyperV or VMware)
  • Handson experience with cybersecurity and incident response
  • Experience working with or managing outsourced IT providers
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Selfmotivated, reliable, and detailoriented
