Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Management Consultant to support Early-Stage Solar Engineering & Construction (E&C) initiatives for one of the world s largest renewable energy construction organizations. This role will work closely with the Solar Regional Lead Project Manager to manage solar projects through the pre-construction phase, ensuring each project is technically feasible, financially viable, and ready for successful handoff to the construction team.

This opportunity is ideal for professionals with a blend of project management, financial analysis, and technical aptitude who are looking to grow within the renewable energy sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of assigned solar projects during the early-stage development process
  • Manage projects to ensure they are technically feasible, schedule-compliant, commercially supported, and financially viable
  • Analyze technical and financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Develop, maintain, and manage capital budgets for assigned projects
  • Support development and permitting activities by coordinating with internal subject matter experts
  • Assist with engineering coordination, problem resolution, and optimization opportunities
  • Support development of construction plans and schedules
  • Participate in commercial contract negotiations and execution
  • Utilize multiple software tools to manage project data, deliverables, and reporting
  • Communicate project updates to executive leadership with guidance from senior management
  • Maintain team organization, project documentation, and readiness for project transitions

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Engineering
  • 6 10 years of relevant project management experience
  • Strong financial analysis and capital budgeting experience
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications
