Senior Financial Analysis Manager

The Financial Analysis Defense Center of Expertise (COE) in Finance Shared Services is seeking a Senior Financial Analysis Manager (Level L) to lead the Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) Fabrication Labor and Tooling Estimates at Completion (EAC) team. We are seeking a proactive, experienced, people-oriented leader in Mesa, Arizona or Hazelwood, Missouri. Ideally the candidate will be based in Mesa and required to work the majority of days in the office.

The successful candidate will possess a positive attitude in leading the team to perform analysis of resource forecasts, recurring performance and/or control accounts, budgets and EACs. This individual will develop strong relationships with BDS Fabrication operational leadership and Control Account Managers (CAMs), plus interaction with BDS program and finance partners. They will manage, motivate, and develop a team of finance analysts to accomplish those deliverables, provide business-actionable insights, and strong story-telling communication suited to the appropriate audience.

The BDS Fabrication business supports most defense programs and spares, a high impact and significantly sizable operation to the Boeing company.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manage, develop, and motivate employees within the Defense Financial Analysis Center of Expertise (COE) supporting Fabrication labor & tooling Boeing Defense and Global Services

  • Manage employees performing Estimates at Completion, EVM, budget development, financial forecasting, business case evaluation and risk, financial analyses

  • Develop and execute project and process plans, implement policies and procedures, and set operational goals

  • Drive process improvements

  • Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports

  • Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team's discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience in a Finance related position such as Financial Operations, Cost Management, Estimating, Financial Planning, Contracts or Procurement Financial Analysis (PFA)

  • 1+ years of experience leading projects or teams

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field

  • 1+ years of experience leading or managing program performance utilizing Earned Value Management (EVM)

  • 1+ years of experience performing Estimates at Completion (EACs)

  • 10+ years of experience in financial analysis and reporting
