Job Title: Inventory Manager
Location: Detroit, MI (Eastern Market)

Type of Hire: Contract-To-Hire 90 Days

Hours: ย Monday โ€“ Friday 5:00am โ€“ 3:00pm (Optional Saturdays, Daily start and end times may vary)

Rate: $17/Hour to start, opportunity to earn raises and bonuses based on performance

Job Overview:
Saad Meats, a premier supplier of quality meats located in Detroitโ€™s Eastern Market, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Inventory Manager to oversee inventory operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with inventory tracking, organizational skills, and ensuring a smooth flow of products. This role includes loading/unloading of goods, managing the FIFO (First In, First Out) process, and creating and maintaining flow charts for inventory movement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently load and unload products to ensure smooth operations.
  • Accurately track stock levels and update inventory management systems.
  • Implement and oversee the First In, First Out process to reduce waste and ensure product freshness.
  • Develop and maintain flow charts to visualize inventory movement and storage plans.
  • Maintain an organized inventory system, ensuring everything is properly labeled and stored.
  • Create and manage location maps for easy identification and access to inventory.
  • Utilize inventory management software to track stock levels, reorder points, and discrepancies.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in inventory management or a similar role.
