Job description

Coloplast is a global leader in ostomy care, developing products and services that support people living with an ostomy. We are looking for a Consumer Marketing Manager that will lead short and long-term strategic marketing responsibilities for our Ostomy portfolio in the community setting, with a focus on consumer acquisition, product preference, retention, and long-term use of Coloplast ostomy products.
You will report directly to the Director of Marketing, Ostomy, focusing on the US business in partnership with our Global Marketing colleagues, US-focused customer experience marketing team, and cross-functional partners supporting the US business.
Major Areas of Accountability
  • Lead the execution of our 5-year, Impact 4 strategy for Ostomy Care, with focus on identified growth opportunities with consumers for ostomy products across barriers and pouches and supporting products
  • Develop and lead consumer marketing strategies focused on consumer acquisition, leading to achievement of growth targets in the US business
  • Define and own brand positioning and messaging frameworks across all consumer touchpoints
  • Own the consumer journey strategy from post-acute transition through long-term community use, ensuring a cohesive experience that drives product adoption and brand loyalty
  • Analyze the competitive landscape and consumer trends to inform strategic decisions, deriving insights from market research, collaboration and event execution
  • Lead the development of consumer-facing materials to support product campaigns, product education, and product commercialization in collaboration with internal partners
  • Identify consumer association, advocacy, ambassador, and community event opportunities that can support product education, brand preference, and community growth; develop execution plans in partnership with appropriate internal teams
  • Lead product launch process for consumer-focused product launches
  • Define KPIs and evaluate performance of community growth initiatives, including acquisition, conversion, retention, campaign engagement, product mix, channel performance, and business impact
  • Partner with Customer Experience Marketing, digital, database, service, and MarCom teams to develop product messaging, campaign inputs, and channel-ready assets that support community growth objectives
  • Collaborate with Medical Affairs and Payers & Evidence to translate approved clinical evidence, product claims, and user insights into relevant, compliant consumer-facing product messages and materials
  • Brief and effectively manage deliverables with internal MarCom team on consumer branding and design projects
  • Partner with and influence Global counterparts to develop product-supporting campaigns, evidence, and value propositions for the US consumer market
  • Work closely with Payers & Evidence, Market Access, and DME Suppliers to build better and sustainable access for Ostomy Care in the US
  • Continuously seek input from Sales, Service, and Customer Experience partners to ensure strategy alignment
  • Effectively manage annual marketing budget within assigned area and forecast spend throughout the year

Basic Qualifications
  • BS/BA in Business or Marketing
  • 3+ years Marketing experience, ideally in a regulated or healthcare market
  • Highly analytical in both qualitative and quantitative data, and make data-driven decisions
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful consumer marketing campaigns
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Experience in budget management
  • Comfort with a broad spectrum of tasks across strategic and tactical
  • Ability to identify, analyze and solve problems with minimal direction and make decisions with confidence
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Domestic and minimal international travel required
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint

    • Competitive Compensation: The compensation range for this position is $119,000 -$170,000. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location. Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses and/or incentives.
