GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Student Success Manager's primary role is to oversee academic and professional development of students from admission to graduation to improve retention, graduation rates, and overall program satisfaction. The Student Success Manager will monitor the progression of all students in the online programs. This role provides support in a high-touch, customer-driven, and data-oriented way.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Departmental Leadership:
  • Identify and implement innovations that support the business unit
  • Work collaboratively with other leaders in the organization
  • Implement success strategies that promote graduation, retention, and satisfaction

Program Success:
  • Positively impact program success metrics
  • Maintain operational excellence of the student success model
  • Forecast future programmatic needs
  • Create efficient processes that support student, faculty, and program success
  • Ensure students meet technology requirements and provide support when necessary

Internal Coordination:
  • Collaborate with admissions, financial aid, and university leaders to support student success

Operations:
  • Monitor and report student progress
  • Identify students who are at risk
  • Effectively manage technologies used for student tracking
  • Leads orientation for all online students
  • Other duties as needed

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
• Comfortable using multiple technologies including: Microsoft products, Canvas LMS, and various other tools.
• Must be detail-oriented.
• Must work well in a team-based environment

Requirements
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • 5 years' experience in higher education.
