Job description

Overview

Adjunct professors teach in area of content expertise in the department's academic program.

Responsibilities

Duties of this position include:

  • Prepare course content for assigned academic course that meets accreditiation knowledge and skills.
  • Develop course syllabus
  • Teach course within the identified days/times.
  • Complete all grading requirements as identified in the course syllabus.
  • Complete final grade submission at the end of the semester.
  • Complete Canvas LMS modules and utilize Canvas for the course.
  • Keep up to date with Canvas training, licensure, and certification requirements.
Qualifications
  • Graduate level degree or eqivalent.
  • Computer use to complete teaching tasks, ability to access web based LMS system (Canvas), and ability to navigate TouroOne for posting grades.
  • Previous teaching expereince preferred.
