Job description

The Rockford Rivets are currently seeking qualified individuals to join our team as Clubhouse Interns for the upcoming 2026 season at Rivets Stadium. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to assist the coaching staff and players, contributing to a successful season. You will also play a crucial part in pre- and post-game ballpark cleanup and support various external events. Clubhouse Interns are integral to ensuring an exceptional player experience. This summer internship program runs from mid-May to late August, requiring interns to be available for all home games (36) and any additional events assigned throughout the season.
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and organize the clubhouse.
  • Manage and distribute team equipment inventory.
  • Ensure the upkeep of team uniforms (including washing/drying both home and away teams' uniforms after games).
  • Oversee post-game meals for umpires.
  • Assist with ballpark operations (including but not limited to field work, dugout upkeep/supplies, etc.)
  • Provide equipment/uniform support to the coaching staff as needed.
  • Flexibility to work a schedule that includes long days, nights, and weekends.

Required Skills:
  • Ability to take direction and successfully complete assigned tasks.
  • Self-motivation, strong organizational skills, and GREAT attention to detail.
  • Capability to make decisions and problem-solve in high-pressure situations.
  • Strong multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Other duties as assigned
