Our Concept

A high-end steak and seafood eatery that will provide Angelinos with an enticing combination of succulent steaks, delectable seafood dishes and cultivated mixology with sophisticated old-school service in a modern, fine dining setting. Our concept will also serve as a sought after lunch destination, with a day menu offering an array off salads and lighter entrees at a lower price point.

Atmosphere

Our steakhouse will provide guests with a unique and invigorating ambiance. The rare-to-find terrace offers an airy, charming area with a retractable awning for a brunch or lunch encounter, as well as a classic, candle-lit atmosphere in the evenings. The interior's daylight hours will serve as an amiable dining space soaked with sunrays as they shine through an enormous skylight, creating a stunning environment for business and casual lunches.

With music pouring from a grand piano and a warm glow exuding from the indoor fireplace, these elements will allow guests to enjoy the best quality steaks in Los Angeles in a restaurant steeped in elegance and sophistication.

Both the interior and exterior of the restaurant serve as the perfect setting for corporate meetings, private parties, award banquets, or VIP restaurant functions. The private dining area has been designed to encompass a wide range of appeal, including serving as an elegant event space for any type of occasion.

What We Expect

Leads all restaurant employees to exceed the expectation of the company and guests. Ensures the consistent planning, production, preparation and prompt delivery to great tasting food and beverage prepared and presented to the Baltaire Service Standards. Responsible for operational efficiency and profitability or Baltaire relations operations. Trains and retains new and experienced staff members and continually develops them in their technical skills, salesmanship, food safety and sanitation. Creates an atmosphere in the restaurant that builds energy, fun, and enthusiasm.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and inspire the front-of-house team to deliver exceptional hospitality and memorable guest experiences every shift.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop team members through pre-shift meetings, ongoing feedback, and hands-on leadership.
  • Partner with the General Manager and leadership team to uphold service standards and create a culture of excellence.
  • Ensure every guest receives warm, attentive, and personalized service from arrival through departure.
  • Maintain an inviting restaurant atmosphere by managing lighting, music, temperature, cleanliness, and overall ambiance.
  • Monitor food quality, presentation, and service standards to ensure a consistent, elevated dining experience.
  • Foster a positive, energetic, and team-oriented work environment built on accountability and communication.
  • Communicate effectively with restaurant leadership through verbal, written, and digital communication platforms.
  • Support daily operations by jumping in wherever needed to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
  • Oversee cash handling procedures, inventory organization, product quality, storage, and restaurant cleanliness.
  • Help manage labor efficiently while maintaining exceptional service standards.
  • Identify operational opportunities and implement solutions that improve efficiency and the guest experience.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety standards, health department regulations, labor laws, OSHA requirements, and ABC alcohol service laws.
  • Maintain a safe environment for guests and team members by proactively addressing maintenance and safety concerns.
  • Support the leadership team with additional responsibilities that contribute to the overall success of the restaurant.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of hospitality, restaurant, or guest service experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative, positive approach.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure, de-escalate challenging situations, and make sound decisions.
  • Highly organized, dependable, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Knowledge of responsible alcohol service and applicable ABC regulations.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
