Job description

We are seeking a dependable and skilled Awning Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining residential and commercial awnings, screens and shade systems. This role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely and confidently at heights and on ladders.
Responsibilities:

  • Install retractable awnings, motorized shade systems, and exterior screens for residential and commercial customers
  • Measure installation areas and mount awning systems securely on various surface types according to manufacturer specifications
  • Assemble, adjust, and test awning frames, arms, fabrics, motors, remotes, and automation features for proper operation
  • Troubleshoot and complete repairs, service calls, fabric replacements, and routine maintenance on existing systems
  • Safely operate ladders, lifts, power tools, and installation equipment while following company safety standards
  • Communicate professionally with customers regarding installation details, product operation, and maintenance instructions
  • Maintain clean job sites, organized installation vehicles, and accurate work order documentation

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in awning installation, carpentry, construction, or a related field
  • Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • Comfortable working outdoors and at heights
  • Strong problem-solving and measurement skills
  • Ability to lift heavy objects above head
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
