Role Overview: As a Project Estimator, you will be entrusted with a range of pivotal responsibilities:

• Engaging with customers to gather job-specific details and implement effective solutions.
• Delivering quotes that align with customer expectations and deadlines.
• Excelling at multitasking, ensuring effective follow-up with general contractors on various projects and building long term relationships for repeat business.
• Mastering takeoff, bidding, and awarded project processes with precision and efficiency.
• Maintaining digital file organization and management.
• Gathering market/customer feedback to ensure competitive pricing
• Keeping communications and reports up to date, ensuring smooth flow to your supervisor.
• You will have agency to influence our estimating process and analyzing of the market.

• Prepare and participate in monthly management department reviews.

• Understand and utilize project connection platforms.

• Proactively provide market data on changes or challenges in the market.

• Competitive compensation package: $55,000-$75,000 base pay

Qualifications for Success: To thrive in this role, you will need:

• Outstanding organizational prowess coupled with natural leadership abilities.
• Ability to efficiently scan through contract documents for relevant information in compiling bid documents.
• A steadfast work ethic paired with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving acumen to navigate challenges effectively.
• The capacity to prioritize tasks, follow up diligently, and execute key activities successfully.
• Confidence in interacting with general contractors.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, along with adept report-writing abilities.
• A collaborative spirit and an eagerness to learn, develop, and adapt within a team.
• Preferred experience in construction take-offs and bidding processes.
• 2 years of experience in commercial and residential construction, if possible.
• Familiarity with aluminum and building wall/patio structures, a distinct advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, essential for the role.
