Maintenance Technician
Working location: Appleton, WI, USA
General Description
Reporting to the Shop Superintendent the Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance of buildings, grounds, machines and assets at the Appleton & Green Bay facilities.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
Initial assignment qualities and responsibilities to include:
  • Safely and efficiently operate hand and power tools.
  • Understanding and adherence to all appropriate OSHA regulations
  • Work along side production employees and contractors.
  • Support troubleshooting of pumps,440v 3 phase electrical systems, motors, drives, pneumatic and hydraulic.
  • Identify nessesary parts for maintenance needs and report to Shop Superintendent.
  • Read and understand standard prints and instructions.
  • Execute preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Willingness to work off schedule shifts to execute urgent maintenance needs.
  • Ability to perform other maintenance, housekeeping, painting and miscellaneous tasks as needed and/or as directed by supervision.
  • Proficiently perform all tasks with or without supervision.
  • Must have computer skills (Word/Excel)

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
  • Education: High school Diploma or equivalent.

Experience: 2 years of relevant manufacturing-related mechanical or millwright experience, or 2 years technical training preferred. Qualified candidates will possess mechanical aptitude skills, general knowledge of PLC controls motor controls, and HVAC is a plus as well as a clear drug screen and background check.
