What We'reLooking For:
We are lookingfor an enthusiastic Maintenance Supervisor to lead our skilled tradestechnicians including Mechanics, Electricians, and Automation Tech's.  As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will assistwith the predictive, preventive, and reactive maintenance and troubleshootingof production equipment and facilities infrastructure.  You will be an ideal candidate if you haveworking knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, compressors, boilers,chillers, water treatment, dust collectors, basic electrical includingcontrols, and safety including Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO), fall protection, andbasic rigging.  You'll be a standout ifyou also have experience with robotics and automated guided vehicles (AGVs).
Leading andcoaching skilled trades is essential to the success of this role and yourdirect reports.  Strong communicationskills are required.   Ability to managework queues of direct reports and confirm essential work is being completed ontime, parts are charged out and/or ordered, and work orders closed properly isessential. 

Your Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of skilled trades:
  • Assign work orders - predictive, preventive, and reactive
  • Respond with priority to requested support
  • Maintain control of backlogs through the effective use of planning and scheduling functions
  • Lead, mentor, coach, and develop skilled trades in the performance of their duties and to their full potential; identify skill gaps and support with internal and external training
  • Analyze critical and recurring repair problems, initiate required action, and provide technical assistance and follow-up
  • Coordinate, together with the Maintenance Planner and MRO Buyer, the ordering and stocking of critical repair parts and other maintenance materials within Maintenance Stores
  • Enforce required safety protocols to support company policies, commonly understood safety regulations, OSHA, and FM Global
  • Maintain an organized shop environment including assigning 5S duties; cleanliness and good housekeeping are daily and shift-to-shift requirements
  • Support and adhere to assigned budget
