Job Title: Plant Maintenance Supervisor - up to $90,000 annually


Job Summary

The Plant Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the comprehensive oversight and coordination of all maintenance activities within the facility. This role ensures the continuous, efficient operation of the plant by managing the setup, installation, maintenance, and repair of all equipment, tools, and machinery. The primary goal is to minimize downtime and maintain a safe, high-performing industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Direct and supervise maintenance technicians in the repair and upkeep of electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

• Technical Troubleshooting: Assist and guide workers in diagnosing complex malfunctions in machinery and equipment to ensure rapid resolution.

• Diagnostic Oversight: Regularly observe and inspect mechanical devices and equipment to verify proper functioning or proactively identify potential failures.

• Resource Planning: Analyze production schedules to estimate worker-hour requirements and ensure adequate staffing for all maintenance assignments.

• Safety & Compliance: Interpret and enforce company policies and safety regulations to maintain a zero-incident work environment.

• Process Improvement: Recommend and implement strategic measures to enhance production methods, equipment performance, and overall product quality.

• Preventative Maintenance: Design, implement, and manage a robust schedule of routine and preventative maintenance (PM) procedures; assign tasks and monitor completion.

• Inventory & Procurement: Manage the procurement of parts for special projects, routine maintenance, and emergency repairs, ensuring essential spare parts and tools are always in stock.

• Operational Flexibility: Perform other duties related to the nature of the role as assigned to support plant operations.

Job Requirements:

• Education & Experience: Associate degree in Education/Adult Learning, or a blend of education and modeling a functional maintenance leadership role for 3+ years.

• Technical Proficiency: Advanced ability to maintain and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic control systems in an industrial manufacturing setting.

• Analytical Skills: Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, process sheets, and complex schematic drawings.

• Communication: Strong leadership and communication skills; preference will be given to bilingual candidates
