Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee all maintenance operations within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and implementing a comprehensive maintenance program that supports production goals, equipment reliability, facility upkeep, and employee safety. The Maintenance Manager will lead maintenance personnel, manage preventive maintenance programs, coordinate contractor services, and ensure efficient facility operations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise maintenance technicians, custodial staff, and third-party service providers.
  • Develop, implement, and manage preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
  • Oversee maintenance and repair of production equipment, facility systems, and utilities.
  • Coordinate equipment installations, relocations, modifications, and upgrades.
  • Manage maintenance schedules, work orders, and maintenance records using maintenance management software.
  • Troubleshoot equipment failures and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime.
  • Work with vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance and repair services.
  • Manage department budgets, expenditures, and purchasing activities.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and workplace safety regulations.
  • Conduct employee training, performance evaluations, and workforce development.
  • Collaborate with operations, production, and engineering teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of maintenance management, facilities management, industrial maintenance, engineering, or related leadership experience.
