Job Summary
- Position: Hospital Mailroom Worker (Temporary)
- Pay Rate: $20 - $23.50 per hour
- Work Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Dress Code: Black pants or khakis (no jeans), comfortable closed-toe shoes, collared shirt
- COVID Requirements: None
- Driving: Not required initially; may be required if converted to permanent
- Interview Type: Prefer virtual
- Main Duties:
- Sort incoming and outgoing mail
- Deliver and pick up mail/packages from various hospital departments and surrounding areas
- Operate a Pitney Bowes mail posting machine
- Physical Requirements:
- Lift packages up to 50-55 lbs
- Walk and stand for most of the shift (except during breaks)
- Comfortable wearing a mask for most of the shift
- Work Environment: Hospital setting
- Attendance: Must have excellent punctuality and attendance
- Parking: Free
