Job description

MACHINE MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR

We are seeking to add a qualified Machine Maintenance Supervisor to our team at our Lebanon, KY location.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have mechanical aptitude and required skills in: Electrical (Power & Control Wiring), Welding, Hydraulics, & Pneumatics.
  • Thorough knowledge of industrial hydraulics & electrical control wiring & diagnostics.
  • Thorough knowledge & troubleshooting skills relating to injection molding machines.
  • Thorough knowledge & ability to decipher electrical & hydraulic schematics.
  • Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office & have a high aptitude for learning various computer related software’s.
  • Working knowledge of PLC programming & related wiring.
  • Excellent communication ability.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and operate preventative maintenance program on injection molding machines, industrial robotics, & auxiliary equipment including thermolators, grinders, dryers, & conveying systems.
  • Develop, motivate, discipline, and train maintenance personnel.
  • Interpret and administer management policies and decisions.
  • Assist & lead troubleshooting & project activities.
  • Lead diagnosis and correction of difficulties as needed to minimize interruptions to production.
  • Schedule department work & OT as needed to meet production schedules & meet project deadlines.
  • Ensure safe work practices & proper housekeeping of department personnel when repairing and working on equipment.
  • Repair of hydraulic valves, cylinders, pumps and electrical components.
  • Work with department personnel in ensuring machine issues & repairs are properly documented.
  • Assist department personnel in managing replacement & repair component inventories accurately & efficiently.
  • Manage LOTO program & conduct annual trainings.
  • Attend monthly safety committee meetings & delegate & assist in repair needs to ensure all equipment is operating in safe condition.
  • Attend weekly production meetings

Minimum Qualifications & Experience Required:

  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Machine maintenance experience 3-5 years
  • 2-year associate degree or diploma
  • Previous supervisory experience a plus
  • Experience with Nissei, Milacron, & Roboshot IMM’s preferred.
  • Experience with 6X automation preferred.
  • Mechanical knowledge of electronics, presses, and all secondary equipment
