Job description

We're seeking an ambitious Machine Control Specialist to build strong customer relationships, provide tailored equipment solutions, and drive revenue growth. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist sales team with quoting the proper equipment/systems.
  • Perform Machine control installations and coordinate with the Service Department when assistance is needed.
  • Be the go-to resource for customers, addressing their needs with creative problem-solving and follow-through
  • Prepare machine control units and verify operation in house, prior to being sent to the field.
  • Educate customers on equipment through product demonstrations and startups on Sales/Rental deliveries.
  • Sell Protection Plans/Software Updates.
  • Support customers with training and technical assistance.
  • Educate sales staff through training and updates to the systems.
  • Travel within the territory, as well as manufacturer/internal training outside the territory as needed.
  • Provide market info to help keep up with inventory demands along with tooling/capabilities to ensure our customers are supported.
  • Build strong, long-term customer relationships within your territory to deliver solutions
  • Represent the ASCO brand with professionalism, enthusiasm, and a customer-first attitude (We're On It!)
  • Proactively identify sales opportunities through outreach and follow-upEducate customers on equipment through product presentations/demos
  • Use CRM tools to document and manage sales activities, ensuring timely follow-up and excellent customer satisfaction
  • Work closely with Sales Managers and support teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and delivery
  • Stay up-to-date on equipment and industry knowledge and monitor industry to maintain a competitive edge

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.  
  • Proven sales ability and excellent customer relationship skills.  
  • Ability to write and speak effectively to individuals and groups.  
  • Strong planning, problem-solving and negotiation and organizational skills.  
  • Knowledge of construction or heavy equipment preferred.  
  • lid computer skills and knowledge of general business software and G-suite platform.  
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
