We are seeking for an Electrician with an industrial electrical background who can work efficiently and accurately in the field of Industrial electrical maintenance and mechanics. Responsibilities
What your day looks like as an Electrician:- Perform preventive maintenance and repair work on electrical and mechanical equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve equipment issues by identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Conduct routine inspections to maintain equipment performance and ensure optimal operating conditions.
- Perform electrical troubleshooting and repairs on a variety of systems and components.
- Utilize manuals, blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation to support equipment operation, maintenance, and repair activities.
- Follow all OSHA guidelines and facility safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Respond quickly to emergency and unplanned equipment repairs to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
Qualifications
To succeed as an Electrician you must have:- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience as an Industrial Electrical Maintenance Technician or in a similar electrical/mechanical maintenance role.
- Must have hands-on experience working with and troubleshooting 480V electrical systems.
- Experience with three-phase electrical systems and PLCs is highly preferred.
- Must provide and maintain a personal basic tool set (socket set, wrenches, screwdrivers, hammer, etc.). A detailed tool list will be provided.
- Working knowledge of maintenance methods, materials, tools, and equipment used to service industrial machinery and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including safety procedures, work instructions, manuals, blueprints, and repair documentation.
- Welding repair experience or the ability to perform weld repairs is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot issues, solve practical problems, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Valid driver's license required and ability to obtain a TWIC card through the Federal Transportation Security Administration (TSA).
