WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
Safely and efficiently operate the Asphalt Transfer Machine.
Control the material transfer vehicle to ensure a continuous supply of asphalt from trucks to the paver without interrupting paving operations.
Guarantee consistent asphalt delivery to prevent segregation, maintain mat quality, and avoid cold joints.
Monitor asphalt mix temperature and quality during transfer to ensure compliance with project specifications.
Coordinate with dump truck drivers and paver operators to synchronize timing and material supply.
Inspect the transfer machine before and after shifts; clean, lubricate, and report any mechanical issues.
Follow traffic control plans, wear personal protective equipment (PPE), and operate equipment with an awareness of ground crew and surrounding hazards.
