Responsibilities
  • Planning and Strategy: Business strategy and market development expertise with analytical and business modeling skills. A strong ability to think holistically is critical to success in the role.
  • Passion: Build great end-to-end customer experiences, including services that open new growth opportunities and innovations in business models and partner alliances.
  • Proficiency in producing desired outcomes within a sophisticated and uncertain technical and business landscape. This involves adeptly presenting and exerting influence across all levels, from senior executives to different departments (delivery, marketing, sales, services, finance, and legal).
  • Teamwork: Independently lead cross-disciplinary virtual teams and drive key business development initiatives for moderately complex deals from creation to implementation in partnership with senior Microsoft executives.
  • Negotiation and Communication: Ability to think and react in real time while dealing with global partners that have missions that may not align with our own. Finding ways to create that alignment or bridge the gap to create successful long-term partnerships.
  • Key interpersonal traits: Motivation, creativity, adaptability, unquestionable ethics and integrity, bias towards data-based decision making, and a willingness to take calculated risks

Qualifications
  • Demonstrated ability in lottery or gaming experience preferred
  • Proven experience in a business field which includes business development, consulting, marketing, sales, partner management, finance, legal, or relevant product development/software engineering experience that included external-facing engagement with customers/partners.
  • Extensive experience managing external partners in different fields and leverage takeaways to find opportunities.
  • Meaningful experience in structuring, influencing, negotiating, and managing complex commercial deals
  • Bachelor's or equivalent experience in business or related field or equivalent alternative education, skills, and/or practical experience
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead through ambiguity and drive towards successful outcomes

At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $90,746 - $200,000. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses. In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance. Note: programs are subject to eligibility requirements.
