Responsibilities
The Retail Sales Representative I is a customer-facing role responsible for driving sales growth within an assigned territory. This position supports retailers by optimizing product inventory, ensuring effective execution of sales strategies, and maintaining strong working relationships to maximize performance across retail locations.
Territory is Fort Worth Metroplex.
Responsibilities
• Execute daily route coverage within an assigned territory
• Manage and optimize product inventory, displays, and in-store presentation
• Adjust inventory mix through transfers or returns based on retailer needs and performance
• Support the development and execution of sales plans to drive district-level growth
• Ensure product availability meets retailer and customer demand at all points of distribution
• Actively recruit new retailers to expand market presence and increase sales
• Review sales performance and key metrics with retailers on a regular basis
• Communicate and implement sales initiatives, organizational strategies, and best practices
• Accurately follow all lottery procedures related to ticket pickup, transfer, return, and warehouse processing
• Process instant ticket returns using retailer sales terminals per approved lottery procedures
• Complete all required paperwork accurately and on time
• Respond promptly to retailer questions and follow up on issues as needed
• Assist lottery personnel with troubleshooting and resolving ongoing retailer concerns
• Build and maintain productive working relationships with retailers, lottery personnel, and internal partners
• Prepare reports and assist with data analysis as requested by Sales Management
• Adhere to assigned route schedules and assist with additional projects as needed
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
• At least one (1) year of retail or wholesale sales experience preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel; PowerPoint experience is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to adjust communication style for a variety of audiences
• Strong planning, organization, and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and manage territory responsibilities autonomously
Work Requirements
• Must reside within the region of the assigned office
• Extensive daytime travel using a company-provided vehicle
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Valid driver's license required

At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $39,848 - $103,002. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses. In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance. Note: programs are subject to eligibility requirements.
