Job description

Description
United Recovery & Remarketing is seeking a motivated Lot Coordinator to join the Jackson, MS team. This is a full-time, Monday-Friday position. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the post-repossession process, as well as helping to keep the storage lot maintained. So, if you like to work around cars, pride yourself on giving great customer service, we want to talk with you!
In this position, you will be spending most of your time outdoors. Responsibilities include:
  • Process repossessed vehicles and upload photos
  • Properly inventory all personal property within repossessed vehicles
  • Complete condition reports in a timely manner
  • Prep vehicles for transport to auction
  • Provide customer service to debtors redeeming vehicles and personal property
  • Provide professional service to transporters and third parties who are authorized on the lot
  • Other various tasks as directed by the Lot Supervisor

This is an entry-level position, starting at $15-$16/hour
*Note* This position does not involve the actual repossession of vehicles or equipment.
We have a very relaxed, informal work atmosphere, and a family-friendly, daytime work schedule. Training will be provided upon hiring.
Requirements
Required Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass pre-employment screening
  • Must be at least 23 years of age
  • Ability to drive vehicles with standard and manual transmission (preferred)
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Good verbal and written communication
  • Requires good time management and organizational skills
  • Must be willing to work outdoors in all kinds of weather

Physical Requirements
  • Frequent and/or prolonged standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping
  • Must be able to lift or move items at least 25 pounds
  • Vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Physical Work Environment
  • Exposure to outside environmental working conditions, including temperature changes, outside weather conditions, slightly elevated noise levels, and minor atmospheric conditions, such as fumes, odors and dust.
