Learning Management System (LMS) Coordinator

Silverdale, WA

The Learning Management System (LMS) Coordinator is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the learning management system and providing first-line support to users regarding LMS questions, concerns, or issue.

Responsibilities
  • Serves as a subject matter expert and advisor on LMS functionality and processes, as well as providing LMS support for the training staff and users
  • Assist in troubleshooting all problems or changes
  • Import, validate and provide accurate interpretation of courseware and data from the LMS
  • Consistently working with the learning tools to ensure users are getting the learning tools they need to succeed. Must fully understand the software required for the instructional resources such as log-ins, course navigation, course creation, etc.
  • Adding courses and documentation, communicating statuses to supervisory personnel in charge of the LMS
  • Communicating course information to participants and functioning as point person for inquiries
  • Reviewing existing training practices/plans and materials to determine effectiveness and recommend changes for improved results
  • Support the LMS Helpdesk to assist learners with LMS access and functionality issues
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
    • An associate degree is preferred
    • Formal training in instructional methodology and adult learning gained from military training schools and/or college education; military experience and education may substitute for formal college education
  • 4+ years of experience related to Strategic Weapon System (SWS), Attack Weapon System (AWS), Navigation Electronics training, or similar military technical experience
  • DoD Secret clearance required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior Navy Missile Technician (MT) or Navy Electronics Technician (ET)

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Thorough understanding of the course process, assignments, report generation, data consistency, integrity, accurate application administration, administrator training, and end-user support
