Community Assistant Overview
As a Community Assistant, a major aspect of this role is supporting our package and service offices for residents as well as providing after-hours oversight and response. This role supports the student services function of the organization, providing opportunities for community engagement, intentional programming, satisfaction, and the well-being of the building.
Hours:10-29 hours per week, depending on the team schedule
Location: Applicants must live in The Amy community

Community Assistant duties include:
- Work with the Community Assistant team to participatein after-hours on-call rotations
- Serve as an on-siteresponder forafter-hourscalls and emergencies
- Assist with basic maintenance requests after-hours
- Submit accurate and timely documentation for after-hours calls, incidents,andother building concerns
- Coordinate and facilitatemonthly community events
- Providethe highest level ofcustomerservice to residentsand customers at all times
- Collaborate withsitestaff and resident council toaddress community needs
- Brings a Can-Do! attitude to the workplace and is a champion of CHNW's values
What we are hoping to see from you:
- Must live in CHNW's The Amy community
- Experience in Customer Service is preferred, but not required
- Experience in residence life, housing, and/or property management is preferred, but not required
- Experience in leadership, team support, and/or supervision ispreferred, but not required
- Proven experience utilizing critical thinking skills, people skills, professional skills, teamwork abilities, project management skills, and organizational skills
