Job description

Freeman Mathis and Gary, LLP is a rapidly growing, national specialty litigation firm seeking a Litify Template Specialist to join our growing Atlanta office. The Litify Template Specialist will play a key role within our Legal Technology & Analytics team, responsible for building and managing document templates in Salesforce/Litify to support legal pleadings, workflows, and operational efficiency. The person in this role will also provide first-level support through help desk tickets and contribute to user training to ensure smooth adoption of Litify tools and processes. This position is available in our Atlanta office or in any location where FMG maintains an office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain Litify templates, including merge tags and packet configurations for pleadings.
  • Translate attorney guidance, court rules, and practice standards into plain-language, modular templates with accuracy.
  • Create and maintain a living template catalog, including usage guidance, prerequisites, and change history.
  • Collaborate with legal staff to ensure templates meet client and court requirements.
  • Provide first-level help desk support for Litify users.
  • Assist with training sessions and maintain user tickets submitted to help desk 1.
  • Own end-to-end testing of templates before release, including data validation against sample matters, and error handling for missing or incomplete fields.
  • Assist in developing user guidance, quick reference materials for attorneys, paralegals, and staff on the usage of templates. Provide day-to-day support for template-related questions, triage reported issues, and coordinate updates with leadership.
  • Work with the Litify team to monitor feedback, error trends, and business requirements to prioritize enhancements and retire outdated templates.
  • Assist with special projects and additional duties as assigned

Education, Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Certificate in Paralegal studies or similar related qualifications preferred.
  • A minimum of 2-5 years of paralegal experience in creation of document templates specific to litigation, personal injury, insurance defense, commercial disputes, and related to a strong working knowledge of legal documents.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Salesforce and Docrio, with hands-on experience applying merge tags and building document templates.
  • Understanding of legal pleadings structure and how they are assembled within case management systems.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Word, Docrio and Docrio Edit.
  • Experience with Litify, File Vine or similar legal tech platforms preferred.
  • Strong communication and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to support training and onboarding for new users.
