Job description

Position requires interaction with front line supervision and the hourly workforce to provide guidance and education to achieve and maintain compliance with Warrior Met Coal Safety Policies, federal and state mining laws.

Work as an integral member of site management to monitor and strengthen compliance with Warrior Met Coal Safety Policies, federal and state mining laws.  Represent site management while accompanying Federal and/or State inspectors and initiate appropriate actions as warranted and convey the results of the inspection to management. Investigate accidents and incidents.

Essential Functions

- Interact with the front-line supervisors and the hourly work force to:

  • Strengthen the understanding  and adherence to Warrior Met Coal Safety Policies, federal and state mining laws.
  • Reinforce positive behaviors and correct undesired behaviors.

- Accompany  Federal or State Inspectors during their inspections

- Perform site visits and audits.

- Collect Respirable Dust Samples or other health related.

- Conduct Training

- Other duties as directed and assigned
