Description
A floater utility operator is a versatile and skilled employee who can operate all machines in the production line and fill in for other positions as needed. A floater utility operator is responsible for ensuring the quality and efficiency of the products, as well as maintaining asafe and clean work environment. A floater utility operator must have good communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A floater utility operator must also be flexible and adaptable to changing work demands and schedules.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Perform machine set-up, operation, and maintenance according to standard operating procedures
  • Monitor product quality and make adjustments as needed to ensure specifications are met
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or problems that arise during production
  • Assist other operators and team members as required
  • Follow safety rules and regulations at all times
  • Report any incidents, accidents, or malfunctions to the supervisor
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Coordinating with other operators, technicians, engineers, and managers to ensure smooth operation of the facility or plant
