We currently have an immediate opening for a Quality Control Technician.
Day Shift, Monday-Friday

The Quality Control Technician prepares, and tests customer product as specified on job cards, blueprints and/or governing specification.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Follows schedule of work as prepared by Lab Lead or Designated Representative.
  • Reads, follows and completes job card accurately
  • Prepares and tests customer product as specified on job cards, blueprints and/or governing specification
  • Documents and certifies test results as to acceptability as required by job card
  • Operates, maintains and calibrates Rockwell and Brinell hardness testers, electrical conductivity meters and supporting equipment
  • Calibrates hardness testers against certified test blocks and maintain logs
  • Inspects indenters for wear and/or damage
  • Prepares test samples using saws, grinders, and specialized equipment
  • Packages and/or prepares customer products for next operation and move to location
  • Follows paperwork flow, QA and Shop Floor policies and procedures
  • Operates forklift
  • Demonstrates strong accuracy and attention to detail
  • Maintains punctual, regular and predictable attendance

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to three months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Neat, legible handwriting and accurate attention to detail are important to this position.
