Job description

We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented Cake Decorator to design and decorate Dairy Queen ice cream cakes for all occasions. In this role, you will be responsible for producing high-quality cakes that meet brand standards while delivering customized designs that create memorable moments for our guests. This position requires precision, patience, creativity, and the ability to work efficiently while maintaining strict food safety and cleanliness standards. If you enjoy hands-on work and take pride in presentation and craftsmanship, this is the opportunity for you.


You'll create and decorate ice cream cakes that look as good as they taste - ensuring every cake leaving the store meets quality, design, and brand standards.


Responsibilities:

  • Decorate ice cream cakes following Dairy Queen standards
  • Write personalized messages neatly and accurately
  • Prepare cake layers, centers, and toppings
  • Maintain inventory of cake supplies and communicate needs
  • Keep cake area clean, organized, and food-safe
  • Manage custom cake orders and deadlines
  • Assist with treat production or front counter when needed
  • Ensure cakes are properly stored and displayed
