We are currently seeking a talented individual to join our team as Regional Sales Manager Electrical amp; Lighting.

What you’ll do from day one
The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) Electrical amp; Lighting is responsible for increasing Functional Devices (FDI) revenue in their assigned geographic territory, developing new business relationships, and generally managing all aspects of the relationship with the FDI resellers, including product training, negotiations, strategic planning, and promotions. The RSM Electrical amp; Lighting will be challenged to grow and support their territory by developing relationships with lighting representatives, distributors, contractors, engineers, and specifiers while driving specification activity, training and new business opportunities.
The impact you’ll make
Manage and Grow Sales within assigned territory
  • Support and train lighting representatives, distributors, and contractors
  • Call on specifiers, engineers, lighting representatives, distributors, and contractors
  • Develop relationships with lighting rep agencies and distributor branches
  • Conduct product presentations, lunch amp; learns, and field training
  • Drive specification activity for emergency lighting controls and lighting control systems
  • Work with internal product management and customer support teams
  • Track opportunities, forecasts, and territory activity through CRM
  • Attend industry trade shows and regional rep meetings
  • Identify new business opportunities and competitive conversions
Eligibility Criteria
  • Minimum of 2 years proven track record in B2B sales, ideally in electrical distribution, or lighting distribution.
  • Valid driver’s license and clear driving record.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future needs for sponsorship
It’s a plus if you have
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field
  • Existing relationships with lighting reps, distributors, or specifiers
  • Experience in lighting controls, electrical manufacturing, or specification sales
  • Experience with emergency lighting, field devices, or commercial lighting systems
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite products Strong communication and presentation skills are a must with strong technical aptitude and problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent verbal skills.
  • Proven organizational ability, interpersonal, and negotiation skills are required.
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services.
  • Strong presentation and territory management skills
