Job Description
This position will be responsible for increasing the overall sales process of decorative lighting fixtures and ceiling fans. by;
  • Building a strong relationship with builders, architects, developers, and customers to promote and sell offered lighting packages.
  • Preforms cold calling and seeks to schedule appointments for lighting sales to potential homeowners and contractors.
  • Meets with potential clients and assists in making selections on lighting packages by building customer confidence
  • Works with management to improve the selling effectiveness of lighting packages
  • Creates marketing and promotional materials as it pertains to lighting fixtures
  • Maintains organizations social media site by posting; up to date pictures, announcements and new products
  • Designs and implements plans to market events and products.
  • Meets directly with customers to establish needs and to drive the overall sales process of lighting fixtures.
  • Conducts customer site walk-through and estimates lighting system installations and service opportunities.
  • Conducts extensive media outreach

Qualifications
  • Three years of sales experience/ lighting sales preferred.
  • Demonstrates good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must be confident, motivated and enthusiastic.
  • Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required.
  • Must have knowledge of different advertising techniques and strategies.
  • Must be able to travel to various worksites with in a 50 mile radius.
