Job Description

Summary

As our National Account Manager for Amazon, you will own the full Amazon business across our smart‑home portfolio and GE‑branded lighting lines. You’ll be responsible for accelerating growth, strengthening our digital shelf, and ensuring our products lead the category in visibility, conversion, and customer experience. This role blends strategic account leadership with hands‑on execution in one of the most competitive retail environments.

Key Responsibilities

Account Ownership & Strategy

  • Lead the Amazon business (1P, 3P, and direct fulfillment) with full P&L responsibility.
  • Build annual and quarterly business plans aligned with GE Lighting’s innovation roadmap, category trends, and Amazon’s growth levers.
  • Develop strong relationships with Amazon Vendor Managers, Amazon Ads POC and agency partners.

Sales & Financial Management

  • Deliver revenue, margin, and contribution goals through disciplined pricing, promotional planning, and trade spend management.
  • Manage operational health: chargebacks, shortages, OTIF, fill rate, and inventory forecasting to ensure consistent availability.
  • Optimize COOP, MDF, and advertising investments to maximize profitability and category share.

Digital Shelf & Brand Experience

  • Ensure best‑in‑class product detail pages by working cross-functionally with Marketing and Creative teams.
  • Oversee catalog integrity, ASIN creation, variation structure, and suppression resolution.

Advertising & Growth Acceleration

  • Build and manage Amazon Advertising strategies (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, DSP) to drive efficient growth and protect brand positioning.
  • Partner cross-functionally to align campaigns with new product launches and brand initiatives.

Analytics & Insights

  • Use Amazon Retail Analytics, Brand Analytics, and internal dashboards to identify trends, risks, and opportunities across lighting and smart‑home categories.
  • Conduct weekly and monthly business reviews with internal stakeholders and Amazon teams.
  • Translate insights into actionable recommendations for assortment, pricing, supply chain, and marketing.

Cross‑Functional Leadership

  • Collaborate with product, marketing, operations, and finance teams to support new product introductions, demand planning, and promotional execution.
  • Advocate for eCommerce best practices across the organization.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 1+ years of Amazon account management experience
  • 3+ years of account management experience in the consumer electronics, smart‑home, or CPG industries.
  • Deep understanding of Vendor Central and/or Seller Central.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, Amazon data tools, and performance dashboards.
  • Proven track record of driving profitable growth in a fast‑paced, highly competitive environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Ability to manage complexity, prioritize effectively, and operate with an ownership mindset.

COMPENSATION

  • The base salary range is $90,000 - $125,000 + Incentive Plan.  The salary range listed is an estimate. Pay at Savant is determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s geographical location, relevant education, experience and skills and an evaluation of internal pay equity.
  • This is a direct-hire position with full benefits including:  medical insurance;  dental insurance;  vision plan;  life insurance;  pet insurance;  FSA / HSA;  12 paid holidays;  permissive time off policy;  401k plan with employer match;  reimbursement for preapproved reasonable and necessary business expenses.
