Light Machine Operator – Metal Hanger Manufacturing

Schedule:

Training: First Shift for 2 Weeks Monday–Thursday: 3:30 AM – 12:00 PM Friday: 4:00 AM – 2:30 PM After Training: Second Shift: Monday–Thursday, 2:30 PM – 1:00 AM Friday: 4:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Pay: $15.00/hour

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Light Machine Operator to join our metal hanger manufacturing team. This position is responsible for operating light industrial machinery used to produce metal hangers, monitoring product quality, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Responsibilities Operate and monitor light manufacturing equipment used in the production of metal hangers Load raw materials into machines and remove finished products Perform visual quality inspections to ensure products meet specifications Package and stack finished materials as needed Keep work area clean and organized Follow all safety procedures and company policies Report machine issues, defects, or production concerns to supervisors Meet daily production goals while maintaining quality standards Assist with general warehouse and production duties as assigned Qualifications Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred, but not required Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift Ability to lift up to 30-50 pounds as needed Strong attention to detail and quality Reliable transportation and excellent attendance Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment Physical Requirements Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching Repetitive use of hands and arms Ability to lift, carry, and move materials throughout the shift Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery and production noise
