The Accounting Intern will support the Finance/Accounting team with day-to-day accounts payable and administrative accounting functions while gaining hands-on experience in a corporate environment. This internship is designed to provide exposure to accounting systems, financial processes, vendor management, and cross functional business operations.
Assist with invoice processing in Deltek Vantagepoint.
Help organize and reconcile accounting records and documentation.
Assist with payment processing and tracking.
Support electronic document management.
Maintain confidentiality of financial and company information.
In the process of obtaining a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management.
Novice understanding of full-cycle accounting and project forecasting and budgeting.
Attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, the ability to work with employees throughout the organization.
Willingness to learn.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
