JOB DESCRIPTION:

SUMMARY OF POSITION
Centerstone Cleveland is looking to hire interns for this school year. Interns will help school-based staff and also help at the clinic, if needed.
Provide assessment, case coordination, individual, group, and family counseling to service recipients under the supervision of a School Based Team Leader, Clinical Supervisor and/or Therapist and provide outstanding internal and external customer service.
Enrollment in master's level counseling program such as Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Social Work.


This is an UNPAID internship.

Requirements:
Enrollment in Master's level counseling program such as Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Social Work.
Intern will participate in new hire orientation and begin internship weekly as soon as possible and according to program requirements.
Intern will shadow school-based staff to know expectations of a school-based therapist.
Intern will commit to spending a certain number of hours each week with Centerstone.
Intern will have a caseload with Centerstone at a time throughout the school year.
Intern will attend and lead (plan, look up resources and activities, write group notes) at least 1 group consistently throughout the school year. Groups typically occur weekly throughout the school year..
Intern will consistently keep up with 24-hour documentation standards.
Intern will attend required supervision through Centerstone each week as well as participation in required supervision through Master's program.

Education Level

Minimum education level of bachelor's degree and a student in good standing currently enrolled in a Master's degree program in professional counseling, marriage and family therapy, or social work.
