Momenta Psychotherapy Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team. As part of a community health clinic, your work will directly impact the mental and emotional health of our client population, which includes adolescents and young adults facing various challenges.

• Act as a primary point of contact for families, fostering open communication and collaboration throughout the therapeutic process.
• Conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions, utilizing both our holistic clinical model and the Attachment-Based Family Therapy approach to ensure effective and tailored treatment plans.
• Facilitate new Family Orientations, Welcome Presentations, and Family Support Groups to encourage family involvement and education.
• Document assessments, treatment plans, progress reports, group notes, contact summaries, and discharge summaries promptly and in accordance with established standards.
• Utilize tools such as Microsoft Word and Outlook, as well as our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system to ensure accurate documentation and data management.
• Participate actively in weekly treatment team meetings and clinical supervision to enhance team collaboration and professional development.
• Represent Momenta Psychotherapy Services at various meetings, trainings, and conferences as required.
• Independently manage your schedule to ensure that goals are met efficiently while providing exceptional care to clients.

In this role, you will primarily work with adolescents and young adults who are navigating a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and family dynamics. Your approach will be essential in guiding them towards sustainable healing and personal empowerment.

• A Master's Degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field is required. Enrollment in a Doctorate program from an accredited graduate institution is also acceptable.
• Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist is mandatory, and board registration (such as APCC, LAPC, ASW, AMFT, or MHCA) in the state where services are delivered is essential.
• Proficiency in conducting individual, group, and family therapy with adolescents and young adults is a must.

• Experience in treating mental health disorders, substance use issues, eating disorders, or trauma-informed care is preferred. Familiarity with specific therapeutic modalities will be advantageous.
