Bradford Elementary is seeking a library paraprofessional to support students and staff with library services, promotes literacy, manages library materials.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily library operations and circulation of materials.
  • Check books and other resources in and out using the library management system.
  • Shelve, organize, and inventory books and library materials.
  • Help students locate books, research materials, and technology resources.
  • Support classroom visits and literacy activities.
  • Process new books, repair damaged materials, and remove outdated resources.
  • Supervise students in the library while maintaining a safe, orderly, and welcoming environment.
  • Assist with technology, including computers, printers, and educational devices used in the library.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to support curriculum-related library activities.
  • Maintain accurate records and assist with library reports and inventory.
  • Encourage positive student behavior and foster a love of reading and lifelong learning.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the librarian or school administration.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience working with children preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
