Student Worker: Library (El Dorado)
Job Duties
The Library is more than a place to work-it's a place to grow! An average day at the library includes being the first to welcome visitors at the Library front desk, making drinks at the Library Latte, and using your creativity to help with the Library's events for students. If you want to become part of a community that supports a love of learning and libraries - this may be the place for you.
Tasks You'll Do at the Library:
  • Welcoming students, staff, and faculty to the library
  • Making coffee and boba drinks at the Library Latte
  • Checking materials out and in
  • Shelving books and other library materials
  • Helping to plan or create social media posts for the Library Instagram and Facebook
  • Designing flyers, bookmarks, and other library promo
  • Help plan or run Library events and craft days
  • Help keep the library and coffee bar tidy and clean
  • Help students access our online resources

Hours for the Fall are between 8 am and 7 pm Monday - Thursday and 8 am and 5 pm on Fridays. Times can be flexible. We are hiring for all shifts, with some preference for morning and midday availability.
