Century City-based premiere class action law firm is seeking a motivated associate attorney with at least a couple years’ experience to join the firm’s pre-litigation team. We are one of the leading plaintiff-only labor and consumer law firms in California, recognized for developing law on numerous cutting-edge issues in wage and hour and consumer issues. We fiercely litigate on behalf of our clients in every case and have obtained over a hundred million dollars in relief to employees and consumers. Over the past decade, our law firm has emerged as a major force in class and representative action litigation, taking on some of the largest national and global companies. Our attorneys hail from top-tier law schools and bring decades of experience to our practice. The firm’s pre-litigation team provides a unique opportunity to develop a solid understanding of wage and hour and consumer law, and to explore new potential claims areas and theories of liability. The ideal candidate will possess strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent work ethic and professionalism, be detail-oriented and highly organized, be able to work independently, and possess strong time-management skills and excellent people skills.
Primary roles/responsibilities will include conducting client interviews, claim-spotting, complaint drafting, and legal research. Prior experience in employment law or consumer protection is preferred, but not required as the firm is willing to train the right candidate. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel required. Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
