Job description

Tustin law firm seeks an Office Assistant to join our staff. Our office is a Tobacco, Alcohol and Drug Free workplace which specializes in Unlawful Detainer work, residential, as well as commercial. This a full-time position.
General responsibilities will include, answering phones, calendaring, maintaining the case filing system, and interacting with opposing counsel and court clerks. You will also be scheduling hearings, preparing pleading and legal forms, assisting with basic discovery, preparing legal documents for filing in court, calendaring, and additional administrative functions.
We are looking for a qualified candidate for this position. The candidate should have basic office skills and experience with Unlawful Detainer work is preferred. You should also be well-versed in Essential Forms and Quick Books.
Previous experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate. This is an Entry Level position.
A strong team player is needed, who is detailed, thrives in a fast paced working atmosphere while being able to handle stressful situations and heavy caseloads.
This position offers an excellent opportunity to expand one's knowledge, responsibility and position with a long-time firm.
